BrazilOnGuitar says: In April 1971 the Japanese Canyon label would pay Baden Powell 30,000 US$ for recording 30 titles of modern Japanese music. The instrumental orchestra parts were already recorded by Japanese musicians, leaving only the guitar track to be added. Of the 30 titles only 14 were selected for the LP release, that was only avaliable for a short time in Japan. These recordings are among the most commercial of Baden's releases and have the typical easy-listening sound of the late sixties and early seventies.

Except for Hanayome they are not very demanding, musically. This Bossa Nova on a Japanese theme is worth listening to and reminds of Baden Powell's early recordings. Despite his impulsive creativity and his high technical level of these days, he is imitating perfectly the easy-listening sound. Even with his name not on the record sleeve you could identify him by his sound and technique.
